Made in Manitoba Breakfast

The Made in Manitoba Breakfast program travels across Manitoba feeding breakfast to students and connecting them to where that food comes from.

The program is coming to Discover Agriculture in the City and will feed around 100 students on March 19th, 2010. Students will enjoy a made in Manitoba breakfast cooked and served by actual agricultural producers from a variety of sectors.

Before breakfast,  students take part in an educational presentation where they explore the agricultural industry and discover where their food comes from.

To learn more about the Made in Manitoba Breakfast program including how you can apply to have a breakfast in your school visit Ag in the Classroom – Manitoba.

After the students have enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast they will embark on an educational race through the agriculture exhibits. Students will be challenged to answer a series of questions as they move from booth to booth. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.
